Saturday: Donated blood.

Sunday: Went karaoking with my mom, sister, and cousin for 5 hours. Mom sang mostly older Chinese songs, my cousin sang mostly R&B pop Chinese songs, my sister and I were all over the place. English, Chinese, Japanese. Surprisingly my voice wasn't warn out. GAH karaoking is so fun!

Past weeks: Have been playing Twilight Princess. I'm almost at the end ;_; *looks at the pages left in strategy guide* Now I don't want to finish it so fast... What will I play after? We just finished sledding with the Yeti couple. They're so cute. ♥ Hehe I keep making fun of -out of love- Link having a small frame.

Monday: Finally watched Ironman. Freakin' awesome. Also, chopped 4-5 inches of my hair off. Now I have fringes after 4 years.

Today: Other than class and work, watching Hoshi no Kirby nonstop. XD It's kid show cheezy -not the best blend of 2D & 3D either- but GAHH KIRBY YOU PINK BALL OF CUTENESS! I'm seriously just watching it for the fuzzy cuteness. Meta Knight is so COOL in it tho *__* He's all mysterious and always watching over Kirby like a mentor. AND HIS VOICE. Gah I wish he wasn't dubbed in Brawl. His seiyuu sounds so... for the lack of better word, "bishounen"-ish and suave. Oh he's Sano in the Hana Kimi drama CD. Of course he would. BUT KIRBYYY. CUTE METER BREAKS. "Poyo~" I'm gonna have the OP stuck in my head.

Takashi Kitano new movie. Premier in Japan on September 20, 2008. About a talentless but dedicated artist (Kitano) who continues his dream with his wife despite the lack of success. Man I really can't believe this is supposedly a comedy... the trailer can pass as a tearjerker ;_; Or maybe because it's such a sensitive subject... But Kajiura Yuki's composing the score. *_*

Went to donate blood yesterday at Red Cross, and out of all 4 times I donated, this nurse gave me the cleanest shot. It's not even bruising. Summer classes are over -finally- yesterday, and now I have 3 weeks of rest before Fall semester starts. I want to take my mind off of anything academic related for the time being... *plops down* +_+

• FictionJunction YUUKA and Kajiura Yuki stuff have been occupying my playlist dominantly for the whole month. ♥
  


• Updated ST.com lots yesterday, and got to do the same with the forum. But but... Seki is dub voice for Gyeon-woo in "My Sassy Girl," along with Kobayashi Sanae as The abusive Girl?! Oh God oh God XD... I want to see it bad. The movie was absolute crack and fun... Hmm, I should watch it again.


• I have 2 days to spend the CDJapan 500 yen coupon before it expires. I'm most likely going to use it on the Crossover II DVD.


• Am I crazy for wanting to buy this just because the rabbit resembles Strawberry?;; I was browsing through Uchida Kazuna's titles, and it was like, "BL...BL... more BL... BUNNIES SO CUTE!" That must be how Uchida-sensei got the idea of bunny hole studio and its mascot. X3 ♥ I wonder if I should order at Kinokuniya. ( Slight sentimental talk. )


• Tokyopop (and BLU) has licensed Silver Diamond and Koicha no Osahou(!). (source) Two beloved series! It's a rejoice for the fandoms. Not entirely fond of BLUManga's editing, but they do pick up good titles. ( Personal thoughts. )
  
  Also, I found a great review on Koicha. "An elegant yet persuasive seme and a naive and hyperly strong uke! Now, that’s a match rarely seen in Yaoi manga … And it fits!" That's the exact dynamic balance I love in pairing X3~ Couldn't have said any better. Sakuragi-sensei uses it a lot ♥

Donated 1 lb. of blood to the Stanford blood drive this afternoon. Ow, my arm's still rather numb. I totally forgot I lost lbs. last semester.... so I had to bluff I was 110lb. Shhh. Let's hope I gained them back these past months. Hey, I DO eat >_> Let's hope they report the blood type~

Oh I love you eMule~ I found Sato Anna (里アンナ)'s "恋し恋しや" album *_*~ ♥!! I'm totally in love with it. Oh, just as magical as I thought it would be... Sadly, she is not a well-known artist, and she sings enka. Nonetheless, she has such a soothing and gentle -but strong- voice. So soulful and beautiful; it is like time is inverted... but again, I am a softie for oriental New Age music (time in time, I really need them to nourish my spiritual side in times of frustration).

恋し恋しや (hope you like) is a lovely, lovely piece to start the album. Everytime I listen to 月の足跡 (still my favorite piece of them all), I would be reminded of my trip to Japan since that is how I got to know about her. 俊良主節(奄美島唄) is also beautiful... with the slow drum and flutes. I feel extremely guilt for downloading the album. One day, I will order it. I want to know the lyrics *_* Dude, five reviews of 5-star ratings on Amazon.co.jp!

Hitomi's "PRIMA ROSA" is out... currently I'm able to restrain from downloading, so I can wait for the oversea version. Somehow I think I won't be able to hold it any longer T_T okay fine, I gave in.

Right now I was staying up for AP Art (you SO didn't see that coming), working on this:

Hours of inking with pentip and ink... and red color pencil. Why I chose to work on a 18x24 paper? Cuz I love making my life difficult. T_T I screwed on the hand!! BUuuuut.... other than that, I'm relatively satified. I totally BSed the folds...so... good enough for no references XD I'm contemplating if it still looks too empty.

Originally I did not have a specific concept for it, so I let others to perceive what it means. Hey, I'll let the art reflect the viewer, not the artist :Þ I just really wanted to put a rose in there even if it's arbitrary. XD;
