OMGOMG I'm just so in love with the gestures in this song *_*;;; Pia's Elisabeth and her chemistry with Uwe are just simply magnificant. I love how she sings half the song in Japanese and joins Uwe in German toward the end.

Waking up at 5PM. That's a new record for me.

So I got my grades back for the semester:
Art28: A-
Art100W: B
Art112B Advance: A
Art113A: B+

...I have NEVER felt this unjustified with a grade before, and I'm talking about my Art100W (writing class). Not intending to sound pompous, but that was the class I actually expected an A in. Despite spending the least time for that class, I worked very hard. Six out of the seven major papers (the only writing assignments in the class) I've received A or A- in (two A-, four A, specifically). I've participated in class, and I've only missed 3 classes at most. Unless I failed the presentation (which I don't believe I did) or that she has some grudge against me (which is not even a reason AT ALL) or she submitted someone else's grade as mines (which I definitely HOPE is the reason), I DON'T SEE HOW "B" IS POSSIBLE. I emailed the professor, but she barely responded to emails even during the semester, and as expected, no reply =___= Let's see if she's gonna reply within the next 2 weeks; maybe she's on vacation. Argh, here goes another academic chase that seems to happen every beginning of a new semester.

Yesterday I went to Miche's house to learn Korean pop dancing XD We spent the whole day trying to learn Wonder Girls - Tell Me dance moves through this tutorial. Most of them had taken some PE or dance routine during the Fall, so I was stiff as a board. 8D; *not dancing material* Argh body rolls are so HARD. It was so fun, definitely much funner learning as a group (there were six of us). I'll prolly practice at home when no one's looking...

Also watched the 1993 HK movie 東成西就 (Eagle Shooting Heroes, parody to Legend of Condor Heroes), starring many well know HK stars like Jackie Cheung, Tony Leung, Joey Wang, Maggie Cheung, Leslie Cheung, and more. OH MY GOD I miss comedic HK movies like these. XD;; This has to be my favorite part, Jackie as 洪七公 and Tony as 歐陽鋒. The subtitles don't follow the Cantonese dialogues exactly.

I skipped 113A class in the morning today to sleep because I stayed up all night to write my essay on the film Crash. Either I go zombie, or I save my sanity. Somewhere deep inside I kind of regret going to Frank Gladstone's lectures, as that could've been two FREE work days... but then another voice argues back cuz his lecture was so worthwhile and educational. But... there are only 24 hours in a day. Now everything's pushed back.

Oddly enough, the professor "love the theme" of the essay when she looked through it. So weird. I thought it would suck because everything was last minute. I'm beginning to think that cramming an essay the night before it's due is like taking LSD to write good lyrics.... or something.

B-but... once again, something Milkjelly plugged. EHEHEHEHHE. ► ► Memes A La Brawl

Among the many other cracks, the three swordsmen dance to "Dragostea din tei" on the plane ship!!!!!! (starts at 1:18) Marth + Link + Ike + Numa Numa = EPIC WIN. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ They're dancing using the taunts of Zelda, Falco, and Samus. THANK YOU, hackers. XD SO CUTE... especially when they're using Zelda's taunt. *huggles the three* (＊ﾟ∀ﾟ＊) The other highlight in the video was a TMNT reference "heroes in a halfshell - turtle power!". Actually, all of the user's videos are worth watching.

On the more serious note in terms of apartment issues, well, I rather not go there. It seems like they're finally starting to take a hint, but I don't know if it's just because of midterm week... I LIED. She can go to hell for all I care.

Today was just fabulous. It went in something like this order.

The only good things that have happened this week are:

• I FINALLY GOT MY PHOTO APPROVED BY CAMERON. Hotdamn yeah. All those weekends tweaking the still life... 4th try (which is pretty bad, but still)! But painting it will be my doom, for there are meticulous details JEWELRY that I've been told to avoid, and I just had to make life challenging. I do like the theme of it though... and we're going to repaint it over 16 times, so, we better like the photos.


• I got my paycheck. I needed it. I withdrew $40 on Monday, and just within 2-3 days $30's gone from art supplies. The rate's just scary.

My monthly semi-RL update. I don't think I can make it to Ycon this year either... *SIGH* Oh and, please offer a vote for me at ssb_stamps? ♥ I'm getting very interesting candidates but am not stamped nonetheless.

/Edit: Oh yeah. Housemate problem. I know for a fact she's smoking in her room, and I told her not to. You can't hide the smell of a bud though. It's too early to ruin housemate truces.

But what is bugging me the most is... the reason why I brought up the subject of the Youtube Inbox is because someone was kind of enough to inform me that a certain user plagiarized my Ouran AMV and someone else's Furuba AMV and took scenes from them -using the same song- in "her" AMV. I left her a comment, claiming that those excerpts were from MY video... AND NOW WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH MY DAMN ACCOUNT SUSPENDED? It's like screaming "I AM THE REAL OUJI!!!" only to have authority stripped down to pauper status. And others laugh in my face. But in this case, I -AM- the prince DDDD:! That is so my video! SKFjslkdjflkjsdkljfldsjlfjsdl.

...I sent a support form to Youtube and even mailed a LETTER informing them about my accidental suspension. No reply via email, alas, I figured so much. They said if my inquiry is not answered through their Help Center, they will reply me. Liars. I sure as hell can't find any topics listed that are remotely close to my situation D: I'll wait a few more days. I miss my account T_T... Can't even browse through youtube now without throwing a tandrum.

Wow. That was a mouthful.

So what's hanging for the past days? Study, little demons, research reading, group presentation, 4 hour naps, lazy about, non-productivity. It's strange how this summer is so environmental-related for me... the Geography class, my current project at work is for a "zero emission" cart, presentation on who's greener for the 2008 election, taking public transport, earthquake research.

Today I managed to finish the CG. But dude, it's reaaaallly time to get a new tablet now. I rebooted over 5 times today just to get my tablet to work... and it still phailed. Coloring with mouse kills.

On the way of fixing the subdirectories of my domain after it got hacked 2 weeks ago. >_> Er... I lost a lot of my fanlistings due to the delayed update.

Quick overview of plans for summer:

• Class: Geography lecture + lab~ Damn GE requirement. 4 hours...
• Job: Same part-time on campus. Right after class.
  
• Art: I'll draw/CG as much as I can, and hopefully some from life. Make new oekaki board as soon as I get a new tablet. @D@
  
• Gaming: finish TP and yaa know. Play the few games we have.
  
• Web: revamp domain and sites. Prolly just make the domain my art/personal site. I don't have that many sites left anyways.
• Music: Maybe try to pick up the Gu Zheng again. Not for lessons, not for others. Just for myself ^^ Make the most out of my lack of musical talent.

Huu... sleepy again. Oh yah, my sister found out from the doctor she has allergic reactions to cats.

So I'll rant the shitty part first... They still haven't dropped Art51 (Maya class), and it's been over two weeks, which MEANS I've been absent over two weeks in the class. My biggest fear is that they will not approve the late drop, but there is no freakin' reason why they shouldn't. It's not like we get any refunds for the units, so the uni keeps the money. I did say I will retake the class next semester, so they'll still suck more money out of me anyways.

( So my biggest concern now is whether I should attend the class just for the sake of attendance or not... )

Okay, so now about the Lifehouse concert. You know, the most ridiculous part was that I just had to have one last drama before it started. What happened? So driving to BART, riding it to SF, and going to Carl's Dr for dinner went smoothly. And then...... I SOMEHOW LOST MY PRINT-OUT TICKET. WOEZ. Either it slipped out of my hand or someone took it. Thankfully the venue had the record and was nice enough to reprint it for me. I'm such a retard sometimes.

Dude. THE CONCERT WAS AWESOME. Matt Nathanson was one of the openers, along with Honey Honey. Matt was so charismatic :D Got his autograph and a pic with him, even though I don't really know his stuff, but he's a cool guy xD; As for Lifehouse, they were so amazing live. ♥ I actually found myself liking Jason's voice more and more, and they sang some of their flag songs! My roomie and I actually got a very good view, despite being close to the the amplifiers that nearly killed my ears.

I still regret that I didn't bring my camera to the Within Temptation concert... *sigh* Oh yah, I secretly wished Lifehouse sung "Come Back Down" since it's my favorite song from them... but ah well ^^;

Anyhow, my ears still haven't equalized back yet. They were actually hurting prior to concert, so I guess the concert just kinda amplified the soreness x_x; Could be my Eustacian tube being retarded.

Otherwise, let's see... work. It's just like Yearbook class but getting paid ♥ Best part is the free access to office supplies (i.e. color printer) 8D;!

So today's interview went pretty well. Apparently the Engineering Dean's office was looking for a student with some graphic design skills for a while now, but no one applied for the position. I pretty much got the spot :D! Starting already next Wednesday. Approximately 10 hours each week, starting wage is $10.00, which isn't bad at all for part-time. Though my first paycheck is gonna go to my mom, reimbursing the 3 units that I dropped (in which they STILL didn't drop yet *curses*).

I mean, of course the leisure/art supply money is a big part of it, but the larger picture is that... I just wanna have a chance to prove I can do something right on my own. Provided that I can neither sing or cook or write quality paper or have good grammar or draw as well as others. It sucks feeling so, well, I guess handicapped or pampered, reinforced, being helped by parents all the time. Not that I'm ungrateful, but I already feel like I'm behind everyone else in experience, so there's the need to build up and catch up.

Kira and I are going to sketch together at Santana Row. Whee :D! We realized we have the same taste in terms of aesthetics... only she's much better at capturing them xD;

The past week, I ate pizza for five meals, plus instant noodles. The Xmas mood is kicking in late.

Anyhow, recently I really grew to love 容祖兒 (Joey Yung)'s new song "小小" (Little) because the lyrics are just so cute ♥ I'll translate it later on, but that song got me onto youtube...

And then I stumbled upon Joey dueting with her mentor 羅文 (Roman [Lo Mun] Tam), also known as the Godfather of Canto-pop, a pillar of Hong Kong... As of today (or yesterday for HK), it would be 5th anniversary of his death. Thinking about it makes me really sad... because they were pretty much the epitome of HK singers, and he, along with many HK singers that we lost, is irreplaceable.

Anyhow! So the clip I saw was them dueting Condor Heroes 1982 OP3 世間始終你最好 in 2000. (Most Cantonese speakers should recognize.) Joey's voice back then was actually pretty strong. Although it's impossible to compare with the original 甄伲 (Jenny Tseng), Joey pulled it off well. I can see how she can outshine the other artists that emerged after 1999. She is so lucky to have had Lo Mun as her mentor >_<
